Consulting
Depending on your research question, which I will help you narrow down, you may choose to do-it-yourself with my guidance. Consulting rates cover time spent on phone calls, emails, personal meetings (if local) and any research I perform for you, for example in fee-based records sets I subscribe to, or using premium DNA tools.
Standard Rate
Whether you have a specific research question, would like to start or expand a family tree, or need help turning your tree, photos, and records into a story of your ancestors, start with a 10-hour package (unused time fully refundable), to get you on your way. After that you can always purchase another block of time, negotiate a larger project rate, or maybe you’ll be ready to DIY.
Add-ons
Sometimes you just have a task you need help with, like finding a record in a local (to me) repository or taking a photo of your ancestral home. Maybe you need help with Spanish language documents, or you’d like to transcribe oral histories you’ve collected. We’ll have no problem agreeing on a price.
